Stressing out...

Taxes are far, far from done. He's not doing any of it. And he doesn't think he wants to work full-time. "There's just so much to be done around here..." To his credit, he's been doing everything (I guess I need to tell *him*, before he has a melt-down). On his own time scale, but most things. He's doing kids morning and night, fixing lunches (finally), cooking dinner most nights, laundry (eventually). I don't know how long it can last, but I'm letting him. At least as long as he's not working....

Ha. I responded to that previous comment by saying that if I could do it all, all by myself, for two months, then I think two people should be able to handle it with two full time jobs. No response. You know, he has said before that he doesn't want to be a stay-at-home dad, but that's exactly what he's doing. Except that the kids are in daycares. I told him that if he wants to stay home, getting the kids out of daycares is the *FIRST* thing we have to do. Well... he's not saying he wants to stay home. He's just not getting a job! I also told him that he needs to get a full time job, at least temporarily, since we need to qualify for a new loan. He knows that. But he's not looking for a job. I've reminded him that we knew *BEFORE* we moved that we couldn't live on my income alone. He wants to be self-employed so that he can manage his own time. Hmm......

The gas and electric bill arrived yesterday. For four months worth. Outrageous. And not just because it was big due to accumulations, but broken down by month, it amounts to more than we were paying in paradise. Yikes!!!

I've never in my life thought about taking a class in flying trapese. But I am now. There are two ladies here at work that took a class last year, loved it, but didn't accomplish as much as they'd like. So, they are going to do it again. And I just might join them! It sounds like a blast! I've been assured that it is completely safe, with harnesses, guide wires, spotters, everything. And this all from people who are not natural athletes. That makes a big difference. I want to do it!

The trees outside my office window POPPED overnight! The blooms (white and pale green) are open and completely cover the trees. Pulchirtudinous!!! What a treat. I've been waiting for spring. Yippee!!!!
